After my service in the U.S. Navy, I moved to Nebraska and married my wife, Julie. I attended college in Nebraska upon my honorable discharge from the navy, graduating with an accounting degree. I passed the CPA exam and started my career at Deloitte and Touche in Omaha, Nebraska. Over my career, I have worked for both profit and nonprofit organizations as an auditor, accountant, Chief Financial Officer, and strategic leader. Julie had a long and successful career as an official court reporter for the Nebraska courts.
Julie and I have been married for 33 years. God has blessed our marriage and blessed us with three wonderful children. We lived and raised our family in Omaha, Nebraska for over 30 years. As our children matured, each moved away from Nebraska. In December of 2020, Julie and I decided to make the move to Florida. We love Florida! Along with actively serving God and our community and living life to the fullest, we now want to use our time and experience to help nonprofits.
